Certainly a young crowd at the Jack Johnson concert, apart from a few token grown-ups of course.
Opening act was very good. Some Aussie called Xavier. Music sounded like something that would be on the soundtrack to "Deliverance" I can just imagine Xavier playing in the background while Wyatt Earp, his brothers & Doc Holiday were involved in the shoot out with the Claytons at the OK Coral (Which Incidentally I have been to)
2nd Opening act was a wannabe Eminem who ended up sounding like a poor mans' Vanilla Ice. He was the Diet Coke of the rap world. The skim milk.
Jack came on and sung pretty much for 2 hours straight! Legend. I think because it was the last night of their tour they wanted to give a good show. He called back to the stage Xavier to play a song with him, and then that G-Love guy. Admittedly though when G-Love doesn't be a wannabe rapper he could sing pretty well.
Crowd goes wild. Jack comes back to play a few acoustic songs.
Yeah, a jam session at Jacks' house, and he'd invited us along.

I agree, G-Love was a shocker, but when he came back on stage for the jam session they were awesome together!
I never realised Jack Johnson was so popular, Town Hall was the most packed I have ever seen it. AWESOME concert!
Thanks for taking me babe!
Mel
Wasn't it great! But yeah, G-Love gets no love from me!
But all was forgiven after Jack's second song, and then he just went on-and-on-and-on-and-on. Was fab. Must pop his CD on now...
And a bonus was was that his concert was a lot cheaper that the Madonna concert we went to in New York last year. :-D
Why Andrew? Why would you go to a Madonna concert? Why?
Well Jo, It's a Material World, and I'm a Material Girl!
